The gallery is pleased to announce our “15-Year Anniversary” Exhibition, which brings together works by 28 artists who have shaped the gallery’s history.
Since its founding, Marc Straus Gallery has championed new international artists and diverse artistic practices. The exhibition features work by Katrina Andry, Thomas Bangstead, Michael Brown, Sandro Chia, Natasha Das, Shaunté Gates, Abdulnasser Gharem, Jeffrey Gibson, Charles Hinman, Chris Jones, Otis Jones, Anna Leonhardt, Moris, Márton Nemes, Hermann Nitsch, Jong Oh, Ozioma Onuzulike, Yael Medrez Pier, Rona Pondick, Paul Pretzer, Ulf Puder, Anne Samat, Antonio Santín, Jeanne Silverthorne, Clive Smith, Renée Stout, Zlatan Vehabović, Marie Watt, Entang Wiharso, and Xi Zhang.
From our opening on the Lower East Side in 2011 to the launch of our second location in Tribeca in 2024, the gallery has presented hundreds of exhibitions and participated in more than 100 art fairs worldwide.
Curated by writer, curator, and critic David Ebony, this exhibition marks a moment to reflect on fifteen years of artists, exhibitions, and dialogue.
