The impressive painter Hans Witschi needs no introduction to our loyal visitors. All the more exciting, then, will be the interplay between his works and those of Donia Jornod, a young artist with roots in Geneva and Algeria.
Donia Jornod (born 1991) and Hans Witschi (born 1954) share a passion for painting and code – two languages of the visible. They move within the field of tension between intuition and system, color and logic, and reexamine themes of body and psyche, politics and society, history and the present, in the form of both external and internal landscapes.

Den eindrücklichen Maler Hans Witschi müssen wir unseren treuen Besucherinnen und Besuchern nicht mehr vorstellen. Umso gespannter dürfen wir auf das Zusammenspiel seiner Werke mit jenen der jungen Künstlerin Donia Jornod sein, die Wurzeln in Genf und Algerien hat.
Donia Jornod (1991) und Hans Witschi (1954) teilen die Leidenschaft für Malerei und Code – zwei Sprachen des Sichtbaren. Sie bewegen sich im Spannungsfeld von Intuition und System, von Farbe und Logik, und verhandeln Themen von Körper und Psyche, Politik und Gesellschaft, Geschichte und Gegenwart in Form von äusseren und inneren Landschaften neu.
