Join us for a special Family Saturday celebrating ‘Alexander Calder. From the Stony River to the Sky’.
Did you know that Calder invented the mobile? It is an art form that did not exist prior to his creation of it. During this session we will explore construction, materials and space as a component of sculpture in order to appreciate the difficulties in creating a mobile that incorporates movement and balance.
This is a free event, however in order to avoid disappointment advanced booking is recommended.
