- Elisabeth Frink: from the series ‘Goggle Heads’
This March Hauser & Wirth Somerset’s Family Saturday will focus on the exhibition, ‘Elisabeth Frink. Transformation’. Families will be invited to take part in a special tour of the exhibition led by Debbie Hillyerd, Head of Education.
During the tour we will find out about Frink’s subjects and how she made her sculptures, gathering inspiration from the artist’s work. We will then return to the Implement Shed to choose from a variety of materials, the best ones to transform into our chosen subjects, creating our own sculptures.
Family Saturdays are aimed at families with children aged 6 – 14 years, younger children are welcome if supervised by parents / carers.
This is a free event, however in order to avoid disappointment advanced booking is recommended.
