Join us for our Family Saturday exploring the exhibition ‘Louise Bourgeois. Turning Inwards’.
In this session, we will consider how Louise Bourgeois used the spider as a metaphor. We will begin by looking at the giant spider in the Threshing Barn and talking about the sculpture, and how spiders in general make us feel; do they remind you of anyone? Do they make you afraid? Or are they your friend? We will then move to the Implement Shed (our learning room) to make our own three-dimensional spiders.
This is a free event, however advanced booking is essential as there are limited places.
To book a place please email somerset@hauserwirth.com or call +44 1749 81 4060
