Isabelle Krieg – SUPERNORMALMARKT

It brings us great joy to open the autumn season with new works by the wonderful Isabelle Krieg: SUPERNORMALMARKT.

When I call my exhibition NORMALMARKT, or more precisely SUPERNORMALMARKT, then everyone knows what is meant: the turn away from the previous “Super-Kaputtalism” to a “normal” togetherness. Because the present supermarket functions only on the back of others, who are pushed to the edge, and at the expense of nature. And we simply can’t afford that anymore.

A regular market instead of a supermarket. Sustainable, social, just, and environmentally friendly commerce instead of destruction and exploitation. Wouldn’t this kind of normality, this kind of normal life, be super beautiful?

At the SUPERNORMALMARKT at the Stephan Witschi Gallery, you can shop for the food of art (there’s something for every budget), but you can also simply come and encounter my works, me, and other people, taking this added value home for free.

Es ist uns eine grosse Freude, die Herbstsaison mit neuen Arbeiten der wunderbaren Isabelle Krieg eröffnen zu dürfen: SUPERNORMALMARKT

Wenn ich meine Ausstellung NORMALMARKT nenne, genauer geschrieben SUPERNORMALMARKT, dann wissen alle, was gemeint ist: Die Abkehr vom bisherigen “Super-Kaputtalismus” hin zu einem “normalen” Miteinander. Denn der bisherige Supermarkt funktioniert nur auf dem Rücken von anderen, die an den Rand gedrängt werden, und auf Kosten der Natur. Und das können wir uns einfach nicht mehr leisten.

Ein normaler Markt, anstatt ein Supermarkt. Nachhaltiges, soziales, gerechtes und umweltfreundliches Wirtschaften statt Zerstörung und Ausbeutung. Wäre diese Art von Normalität, von normalem Leben, nicht superschön?

Im SUPERNORMALMARKT in der Galerie Stephan Witschi kann man das Lebensmittel Kunst einkaufen (es gibt etwas für jedes Portemonnaie), aber man kann auch einfach hinkommen und meinen Werken und mir und anderen Menschen begegnen und diesen Mehrwert gratis mit nach Hause nehmen.
