Polina Barskaya, Ridley Howard, Sophie Larrimore, Caris Reid, Ann Toebbe - HOME

Polina Barskaya (b. 1984, Cherkassy, Ukraine) received a BA from Hunter College, NY and a MFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn. Recent group exhibitions include Adam Baumgold Gallery, NY and Monya Rowe Gallery. Barskaya was one of twenty artists selected by Perez Art Museum Miami curator, Maria Elena Ortiz, at Pulse Miami Beach 2016 as a PAMM Pick. Barskaya lives and works in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, NY.

Ridley Howard (b. 1973, Atlanta, GA) received a MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA and a BFA from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. He also completed a residency at The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, ME. His work was recently exhibited in a solo exhibition at Marinaro Gallery, NY. Recent group exhibitions include “Intimisms”, James Cohan, NY and the “Atlanta Biennial”, Atlanta Contemporary, GA. His work is currently on view at the Hall Art Foundation, Reading, VT in a group show titled “Hope and Hazard: A Comedy of Eros” curated by Eric Fischl. Howard lives and works in Athens, GA and NYC.

Sophie Larrimore (b. 1980, Annapolis, MD) received a BFA from The Cooper Union, NY. Her work has recently been exhibited in group exhibitions at Geoffrey Young Gallery, Great Barrington, MA; Honey Ramka, Brooklyn; and a pop-up exhibition in Brooklyn titled “Dogs” curated by Oliver Clegg and Austin Lee. Larrimore lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Caris Reid (b. 1983, Washington, D.C.) received a BFA from Boston University, MA. Recent group exhibitions include Denny Gallery, NY and Sargent’s Daughters, NY. Her work was also the subject of a recent solo exhibition at Ochi Projects, Los Angeles, CA. Reid will be featured in a two-person show at Monya Rowe Gallery in November. The artist lives and works in Joshua Tree, CA.

Ann Toebbe (b. 1974, Cincinnati, OH) received a MFA from Yale University, CT and a BFA from Cleveland Institute of Art, OH. She also received a scholarship from DAAD, Universität der Kunst, Berlin, Germany in 2005, and was awarded a residency at The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, ME. Her work has recently been exhibited in group exhibitions at The Suburban, Milwaukee; Carrie Secrist Gallery, Chicago; Josh Lilley Gallery, London; The Elmhurst Museum of Art, Chicago; Tibor de Nagy, NY; and Monya Rowe Gallery. Her solo exhibition at Monya Rowe Gallery in 2015 was reviewed in The New York Times and included in New York Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Shows of the Year”. Toebbe lives and works in Chicago, IL.
