Tashi Brauen

Tashi Brauen was born in 1980 and currently lives and works in Switzerland. After attending art school in Zürich, he graduated from the Basel School of Art. He is known for producing photographic images that isolate, recontextualize and re-present industrial, mass-produced everyday objects. He has shown his work in a number of galleries and museums in Switzerland, France and the USA, at venues such as Art Museum in Bern (2013), FABRIKculture in Hégenheim (2013), Stadtgalerie in Bern (2012), Centre PasquArt in Biel (2012) and Museum Bärengasse in Zürich (2012).
