my perception of things and stuff is not subordinate to questions of truth, reality, and authenticity, but rather an attempt of (self)trans-in-formation. seeing the agency, the willpower, and activity of things and stuff I hope to learn to un-purpose what I would generally view with an objectifying gaze. seeing things as they appear and not as what I know them to be is a process of clearing and confusing of my own gaze and imagination. I understand it as a daily training to purge myself from preconceptions. a political practice. some of the sculptural stuff or installations or assemblies of things that come up are the documents—the stories—of this process.
