Inspired by the themes of the exhibition, ‘The Land We Live In – The Land We Left Behind’ in our May Family Saturday we will explore the power of the poster. The modern poster as we know it dates back to the 1840s and 1850s when the printing industry made mass production possible. Designed to be both eye-catching and informative, posters have been used as a means of communication for many purposes throughout history.
What positive messages would you like to communicate to society? In this session, families are invited to join us as we design and print our own posters.
